Well… Since this is my first post in the Blogger community, I would like to take the time to introduce myself, and explain the inspiration behind this blog. My name is Heidi, and I have numerous things that I could talk about, however, remaining focused is far more profitable, and lure’s more curiosity and attention, then the chaos I have tumbling in my head. However, just like every good human, I may wonder, or stumble off trail, but expect to quickly regain my footing since “my greatest moments” are the funniest moments in my life. And, since they occur so frequently, I’ll to anxious to get home, and let you know about them. My Blond and Airhead symptoms appear daily, and sometimes more frequently than that. It is my belief that everyone has these moments, but I have them a lot!!
Oh well, besides sounding like a dumb blond, I should let the community know that I’m college educated, and graduated with honors with a Bachelors in Geomorphology from California State University, Northridge. I would like to gloat about my education for a moment, because all kidding aside, that has been my GREATEST accomplishment in life. Don't get me wrong; I am accomplished, I have accomplished, and I will continue to accomplish, however, I took on college as a hobby. The really awesome part is the fact that I accomplished my goal, and all the pain and struggles earned me honors and a diploma that hangs on my wall. Doesn't sound like much; does it? Most enlightening experience of my life. These experiences seriously lead to the creation of this blog. Education did so much for me as a human and a person. I became confident in my knowledge and intelligence, which lead to, "ACTING A FOOL." I felt far more comfortable as a person, and my abilities, which allowed me to drop many of the social filters that hinder most American social bonds.
So tonight... Take a moment to rediscover yourself. When was the last time you let-yourself-go? Ask yourself why you're compelled to act, or put up a front for those around you? Are you that bad of a person? Don't you think just maybe there are others in this world that is also goobers?? I'm a goober, my husband's a goober, and BOTH of my dogs are goobers (probably a learned trait). We even have a goober roommate. We had to create him.... but he loves the difference in himself, as a person. The personal freedom that is exercised when you're not putting on a show for society. Boy... doesn't that sound like a lot of work. I'm exhausted, so I'll fill you in with a "Heidi Classic" tomorrow.
I just wanted to say, "Hello".
